About Dr. Jamie Oskin
Naturopathic Doctor for Children Focusing on Autism, PANS/PANDAS, and Chronic Pediatric Conditions
Dr. Oskin has seen first-hand the havoc wreaked by medical mishaps and side effects in traditional medical practice and pharmaceuticals.
We suspect you’ve been there, too, and we expect to earn your trust and respect as we work together using safe, natural therapies to stimulate health and development for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, PANS/PANDAS, and other chronic pediatric conditions.
Natural healing comes from natural living. Using homeopathic medicines, behavioral change, and what nature provides, he works with you and your family to achieve significant transformation by stimulating healing instead of simply masking symptoms.
If you are searching for answers for your child with Autism, PANS/PANDAS, or chronic health challenges, Dr. Oskin provides personalized naturopathic and homeopathic care designed to support your family’s progress over time.
“I’ve seen firsthand what happens when the root cause is never addressed, and that’s what drives me to help families find a better path forward.”

Practice Focus in Pediatric Care
Dr. Oskin is in private practice in Phoenix, Arizona, and consults virtually with clients and other physicians nationwide. While he treats a wide variety of chronic and acute conditions, Dr. Oskin is especially passionate about helping children and focuses on helping those with chronic, complex conditions, including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder and Asperger’s
- PANS/PANDAS
- ADD/ADHD
- Sensory Processing Disorder
- Tic disorders
- Chronic pediatric and neuroimmune conditions
Families searching for a naturopathic doctor for children with Autism, PANS/PANDAS, or other chronic conditions often come to Dr. Oskin after trying multiple approaches and not getting their desired results.
Dr. Oskin’s Approach to Naturopathic and Homeopathic Care for Children
Dr. Oskin works with families through structured, all-inclusive programs designed for chronic conditions rather than one-time acute visits.
Programs typically include a 1.5 to 3-hour comprehensive consultation, individualized treatment planning, and follow-up care every 4 to 6 weeks over a period of 6 to 12 months, depending on the nature of the condition.
Because conditions such as Autism and PANS/PANDAS involve both acute flares and chronic patterns beneath the surface, this program-based approach allows for ongoing evaluation, flexibility, and support as your child progresses.
Care is delivered through telehealth, allowing families to receive consistent, responsive guidance while maintaining access to support between scheduled appointments when needed.
“We wanted a natural approach, and Dr. Oskin listened, guided us, and helped create real, positive change for our daughter.”
Telehealth Support and Personalized Care for Families
Through structured nationwide telehealth* integrative care, Dr. Oskin will work with you to take charge of your and your child’s health by integrating lifestyle changes with his proven approach to stimulating the body’s innate healing capacity.
Parents have access to communicate through a secure patient portal and direct messaging, with responses typically provided within 1 to 2 business days and often sooner. For families navigating Autism and PANS/PANDAS, this level of access can be especially important when changes or flares arise, and guidance is needed outside of scheduled visits.
Enrollment is intentionally limited so that each family receives attentive, responsive care and timely support.
*Due to state regulations, telehealth services are not available to patients located in Florida, South Carolina, or Tennessee.
Philosophy on Root-Cause Holistic Healing
Dr. Oskin focuses on helping families achieve meaningful health goals by addressing the root causes of chronic health concerns rather than solely managing symptoms.
His approach integrates naturopathic medicine, homeopathy, and lifestyle changes to support the body’s ability to heal and function optimally.
Dr. Oskin’s Personal Health Journey and Path to Naturopathic Medicine
At age 15, I had a baseball injury, breaking two bones in my lower leg, leading to six surgeries in a week and 3 titanium screws. What was supposed to be 6 weeks in a cast and crutches turned into 5 months. This injury led to resentment, pain (both physical and mental), and weight gain. I wandered down a destructive path until I had gained over 70 pounds and weighed a whopping 220 pounds in my early twenties. By that point, I had become pre-diabetic.
This was frightening to me because many of my family members have suffered from type-2 diabetes. Three out of four of my grandparents, my dad, my aunts and uncles, and two of my cousins (at young ages) have all suffered from diabetes. I’ve seen family members develop kidney failure requiring ongoing dialysis treatments, amputations, dementia, and lives ending too soon, without enjoying the quality of life in their elder years.
Sigh! So, there I was in my early twenties with pre-diabetes staring down a scary road ahead if I didn’t start making changes. Did I want to take that road, or did I want to choose the road less traveled? I’ve seen the outcome of the first road: I’ve seen first-hand the devastation of my family members who were told by their well-intentioned doctors that they just needed to take a medication. One drug led to two, and two to three, and three to four….
Frustration
I grew frustrated with seeing medical errors and drug side effects ravage my family. My Dad was accidentally prescribed two statin medications simultaneously for his high cholesterol, which caused him months of fatigue and joint pain. My deceased uncle had uncontrolled diabetes and high blood pressure that continuously led him to the emergency room. He was on five blood pressure medications and three diabetes medications when he called me out of desperation for help. After reviewing his lengthy medication list (20 drugs!), I discovered that he had been taking a steroid for 10 years, which was started after he had bowel surgery, which was only meant to be taken for three months. And one of its side effects is to cause diabetes and high blood pressure.
Unfortunately, it was too late to reverse the damage to his body. He had developed irreversible kidney failure and was disabled due to the nerve damage in his fingers that made them so numb that he couldn’t do simple tasks like buttoning his shirt or holding a pen. My uncle’s doctors meant well, and in their seven-minute office visits, they had done the best they could do in this broken system to give him band-aid drug after band-aid drug. But those band-aids didn’t fix the underlying cause of his health problems, and eventually, the damage led him to the grave too soon.
Change
These deeply personal and infuriating experiences led me to take a different road: The road to restoring my own health problems with proven lifestyle changes and Homœopathy. It is more than 13 years later, and I haven’t been pre-diabetic since.
I’m also in the best shape of my life.
I can do and enjoy things that I couldn’t enjoy in my early 20s when I was in such bad health.
My struggles and journey with my own health and my frustrations with the failure of the conventional medical system to help my family are what fueled me to change my career path and go to medical school. But I knew that I couldn’t go to conventional medical school because I had experienced the dysfunctional system firsthand with my own family. That’s when I found out about naturopathic medicine and decided to become a naturopathic physician.
“I am determined to advocate for a natural way of healing without harm.”
Passion for Helping Children with Developmental Disorders
After graduating with High Honors from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona, I completed a one-year residency in a general family practice and then a second-year specialty residency with a focus in Homœopathy at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.
In addition to my extremely personal passion for helping adults reverse chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease, it was during my residency training that I also connected to a profound desire to help children. I remember helping several children with chronic recurrent ear infections that resolved completely with homœopathic treatment. Helping those kiddos inspired me to focus a portion of my practice on pediatrics because it was so much fun to help kids get healthy.
Along this journey, I became nationally regarded as a speaker and published author for my expertise in helping families overcome challenges associated with child developmental disorders including Autism, Asperger’s, ADD/ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, PANDAS, Sensory Processing Disorder, and tic disorders.
